Aston Villa are reportedly keen to sign a midfielder from Crystal Palace.
Crystal Palace's Mile Jedinak
Villa have already signed one midfielder this summer in Aaron Tshibola, with the youngster arriving from Reading, but both Idrissa Gueye and Carlos Sanchez have left the club for Everton and Fiorentina respectively.

Manager Roberto Di Matteo may therefore want another central midfielder to arrive before the transfer window slams shut later this month, and he appears to have set his sights on two Premier League midfielders.
The Telegraph report that Crystal Palace duo Mile Jedinak and Joe Ledley could leave this summer, and Villa are keen to sign one of them.

Jedinak, 32, has been a key player for Palace sign signing from Genclerbiligi in 2011, but his future has been thrown into doubt after being replaced as club captain by central defender Scott Dann.
Meanwhile, Welsh international Ledley impressed at Euro 2016 having recovered from a serious injury, but looks to be behind the likes of Jordon Mutch, James McArthur and Yohan Cabaye in Alan Pardew's pecking order.

Both players have just 12 months left on their contracts at Selhurst Park, and if offers are received this summer, the Eagles may choose to cash in rather than lose them for nothing next summer.
The Telegraph claim that Villa are 'desperate' to sign a new midfielder this month, and want to sign either Jedinak or Ledley to boost their side – and Palace may well listen to offers from Villa for either player.
