Pogba had moments before posted an emotional goodbye message to former club Juventus, where he won four league titles.

The transfer was also confirmed by Pogba's agent Mino Raiola, who has also clinched moves to United this summer for clients Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Pogba left Manchester United in 2012, who he had joined as a teenager from Le Havre. His return is a major investment by United, and a sign they want to compete for the title, and can still attract the best players in the world despite a lack of Champions League football this season.
