Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Leeds United.

Rangers kicked off their 2016-17 Championship campaign with a convincing 3-0 victory over Leeds at home on Sunday afternoon.

Nedum Onuoha put QPR in the lead at Loftus Road in London after just four minutes.

Tjaronn Chery doubled the home team’s advantage from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute.

Then in the fourth minute of injury time, Sebastian Polter wrapped up the scoring with QPR’s third.

QPR chairman Fernandes was at the game at Loftus Road on Sunday afternoon, and he has taken to social media to revel in the win.

“Nothing like a victory,” Fernandes added on Instagram. “Well done Jimmy and all the boys.

“The joy of going 2 0 up captured beautifully by my beautiful daughter @steph_fernandes21 . Thanks for coming 3 0.

“Killed the vodoo of sky games. Happy man. Been a good three weeks. Special praise to Les and chief our Captain .”

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Loftus Road in London on Sunday afternoon, hosts QPR had 43% of the possession, took 15 shots of which eight were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.
