SkySports pundits Thierry Henry and Jamie Redknapp have both named Manchester City as their top tip to win the 2016/17 Premier League.

Speaking to SkySports News HQ on Monday at 10am, the duo were asked for their pre-season predictions, and while a little cagey, both gave Pep Guardiola's City side as the team they regard as the favourites.

Former Arsenal hero Thierry Henry said: "My big hope is for Arsenal to win it, but I will go with City."

He was backed by Jamie Redknapp, who believes Guardiola will be pushed hard by old rival Jose Mourinho.

Redknapp said: "If they can keep right players fit, City will win it but United will go close."

Guardiola has a fantastic record at his previous jobs, winning numerous trophies including league titles and Champions Leagues with Barcelona.

He won three league titles with Bayern Munich, and will be hoping to continue that outstanding run of success into his next challenge in the Premier League.

City struggled to live up to their potential last season under Manuel Pellegrini with the league there for the taking, and the hope is that Guardiola can help the team improve, having already spent big to sign German wonderkid Leroy Sane.
