The Hammers have been keen to add a striker to their squad all summer, making moves for several across Europe without luck.
They have been frustrated in their efforts though, seeing attempts for Alexandre Lacazette and Michy Batshuayi fail, while AC Milan’s Carlos Bacca has continually stalled on a move.

As a result they have been forced to look elsewhere and have turned to Swansea City forward Andre Ayew, agreeing a £20 million fee for his services last week, according to Daily Mail.

Ayew is expected to be formally unveiled by the Hammers shortly, having agreed personal terms with the club.
He will become their sixth senior signing of the summer as Slaven Bilic looks to build upon his impressive first season at the club, and the second within 24 hours following Cedric Masuaku, the left-back signed from Olympiakos earlier on Monday.
