The former Manchester City flop, who scored six goals in 27 games for Villa last season, has been a top target for new Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers this summer, and it's no wonder given their history together.
Having worked together in the youth ranks at Chelsea, Sinclair then hit 35 goals in 90 games under Rodgers at Swansea City, and a third spell together appears to be all but done.

The Scottish Sun report that Sinclair completed a medical with Celtic on Saturday afternoon, with the Bhoys agreeing a deal with Villa which is worth an initial £3m, but could rise to £4.5m depending on certain clauses.
Sinclair will become Celtic's third summer signing after Rodgers landed defender Kolo Toure and striker Moussa Dembele – and Bhoys fans may get an early glimpse of their newest signing.

The report claims that Rodgers wants to give Sinclair his debut in this afternoon's clash against Hearts at Tynecastle, but that's dependent on how quickly the paperwork can be processed this morning.
With Celtic looking to kick off the new league season in style, they could be able to call upon Sinclair in what would be a major boost for Rodgers and the Bhoys in Edinburgh.
