The young midfielder featured for Manchester United's academy side on Saturday.
New Manchester United signing Tahith Chong played his first match for the club this weekend as the under-19s competed in the Otten Cup in the Netherlands.
The Dutch midfielder only arrived at United from Feyenoord last month but big things are expected of him in due course.
The last time United signed a teenager from an Eredivisie club it was Timothy Fosu-Mensah and we all know how that turned out, so manager Jose Mourinho will be hoping the same thing happens with Chong.
The United youngster turned out against PSV Eindhoven in the match and he will feature far more for the club’s academy side in the weeks and months ahead.
Ultimately he will hope to make into United’s first-team but considering he is only 16 that is a dream for another day.
United’s senior side take on Leicester City in the Community Shield this afternoon, where the club’s senior summer signings Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Eric Bailly will all be hoping to play a part.
