Liverpool won 4-0 against Barcelona in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
Liverpool fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Kevin Stewart against Barcelona.
Stewart featured in the pre-season friendly match between Liverpool and Barcelona at the Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday evening.
The 22-year-old midfielder did not start the game, but he came on as a substitute.
The former Tottenham Hotspur prospect gave a good account of himself, as Liverpool hammered Spanish and European giants Barcelona 4-0, thanks to goals from Sadio Mane, Divock Origi, Marko Grujic and Javier Mascherano (own goal).
Stewart is a talented young midfielder, and he will have been pleased with his display against Barcelona.
Competition for places in the Liverpool midfielder is strong, and the 22-year-old will not be guaranteed a place in the starting lineup.
However, if the youngster continues to play as he did against Barcelona and trains well, then he could get chances this coming season.

@LFC Origi changed the game. Stewart cemented his place ahead of Emre. Mane was awesome through out. Clyne was very composed but needs help— alf oseni (@a1f1e) August 6, 2016
I'll say it again but I've always had a soft spot for Stewart. Everyone quick to write him off but he had a huge game today! #LFC— Intellectual Hunter (@JasonGjLFC) August 6, 2016
