According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Aston Villa have agreed a fee of around £2.75 million with Serie A outfit Fiorentina over the transfer of midfielder Carlos Sanchez.
Carlos Sanchez has proven to be a disappointment since making a £4.7 million move to Aston Villa from Elche during the summer of 2014 and following the Villans relegation into the Championship, it is widely expected that the Colombian international will be leaving the club this summer.
Recently, Fiorentina had been confirmed as the team with the concrete interest in signing Sanchez this summer and it was reported by Viola News on Saturday that the Serie A side had reached a ‘tentative’ agreement with Villa for the midfielder.
Now in a further update, Italian outlet Gianluca Di Marzio have gone on to reveal that Villa and Fiorentina have managed to agree on a fee of around £2.75 million for the 30-year-old.
The report states that Sanchez will initially be joining Viola on a season long loan deal for a fee of £200,000 and the Italian outfit are obliged to make the transfer permanent next summer for an additional £2.55 million.
