Alexis Sanchez, Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey are set to feature against Jurgen Klopp's side.

They head into the game missing several key players, with Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny, and Per Mertesacker all missing from Wenger's squad.

The first two are absent following their exertions with France at Euro 2016, where they made it to the final, whilst German Mertesacker has picked up a long-term injury in pre-season.
Wenger has better news when it comes to his other stars though, stating that Sanchez, Ramsey and Xhaka will all feature.
“Alexis and Aaron Ramsey will play a part in the game,” he told the club’s official website.
“I took this Friday and Sunday to give competition to everybody so I will see how much and how long I will play them for. Granit Xhaka will come in, certainly.”

It now remains to be seen how Arsenal’s absences affect them heading into the new season.
The centre of defence is certainly an issue, with it currently unknown who will feature alongside Gabriel Paulista in Per Mertesacker’s absence.
Who Wenger chooses will be interesting to say the least, with it looking likely to be either Calum Chambers or Rob Holding, which is not an ideal situation to say the least.
