Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has told the club’s official website that he wishes he could have played alongside Philippe Coutinho. Coutinho has developed into one of the stars of the Premier League at Anfield, since joining from Inter Milan on 2012.
Last season saw him shining once again, as he developed strongly under the guidance of manager Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho has a shot at goal
It is Coutinho's ability to pick out a pass that is arguably his strongest asset, with the likes of Daniel Sturridge having profited from in recent seasons. And Fowler says he believes he would have thrived if he had played alongside the Brazilian.
“Being a goalscorer, it’s quite simply Coutinho,” he told the club's official website when asked which current Liverpool star he wishes he had played with.
“He’s a little bit of a magician, and myself as a player I believe I would have thrived on some of the through balls he puts through.”

Liverpool will be hoping that Coutinho can continue to deliver for them next season. The club will need him at the top of his game throughout the season as they look to challenge for a place in the top four.
