Everton's Romelu Lukaku reacts after sustaining an injury
It is the picture that Everton fans will not want to see with just a week until the start of the Premier League season - Romelu Lukaku lying injured.
The Blues hosted Espanyol at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon, the final game of their pre-season preparations.
It proved to be a highly frustrating game for them, with new signing Idrissa Gana Gueye conceding an early penalty that proved to be the difference between the two sides.

It was a poor performance all over, with the Blues struggling to create many clear-cut chances throughout.
While the result was a concern, their attention was focused mainly on the fitness of one of their key men with just a week to go until the season opener with Tottenham Hotspur.
Star striker Lukaku limped off after just 63 minutes with his discomfort evident to the watching Toffees supporters.

It remains to be seen whether the injury is a serious one, although Ronald Koeman moved to allay those fears following the game.

Everton fans will certainly be hoping that proves to be the case, with the Blues ill-equipped to lose their star striker at this stage of the summer and a tough clash with Spurs looming on the horizon.
