Leeds United take on QPR tomorrow to start the Garry Monk era. The game at Loftus Road was moved to Sunday for television purposes, leaving the new Whites boss and his assistant Pep Clotet with a day off to do as they pleased.
Both men are very active on social media and the Spaniard revealed just what the Leeds duo were up to today on Twitter.
Clotet and Monk went to watch some of the Championship action that was going on elsewhere today.
The pair checked out Birmingham City v Cardiff City at St Andrews’ … as this picture showed:
Leeds take on Fleetwood Town in the League Cup in their next game after the QPR clash and they then take on Birmingham at Elland Road in a week’s time.
So it is clear that the pair were in the Midlands to check out their next Championship opposition – after they hopefully defeat QPR in their opener tomorrow. They probably didn't enjoy the game, as it ended a bore 0-0 draw.
Perhaps it is getting ahead of themselves slightly to watch their next opponents before they have even got the season started, but clearly they are hoping to be all set for Birmingham after their QPR clash.
