Nottingham Forest attacker Jamie Paterson has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his disappointment.

The 24-year-old, who can play as a winger or as a forward, will miss the match against Burton Albion on Saturday afternoon.

Forest will take on Albion at the City Ground in the Championship in a few hours’ time.

Paterson is not available for the encounter due to a strain, as reported by The Nottingham Post.

The former Walsall attacker has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment at the prospect of missing out, but he hopes that Forest pick up all three points against Albion at the City Ground.

Forest will head into the match against Albion with confidence and as favourites.

The Reds have a better team than their visitors and also have home advantage for this afternoon’s game.

Nigel Clough’s side finished second in League One last season and gained promotion to the Championship for the 2016-17 campaign.

Albion are one of the candidates to get relegated from the Championship at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
