The England international striker had a great game overall, and Pochettino has suggested that the 23-year-old is back to his best.

“It was a great performance from Harry,” Pochettino told The Daily Mail. “We told you he would come back strong. He played for one hour and looked fantastic. He is raring to go.”

Kane is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and has been on top of his game for the past two seasons.

During the 2014-15 campaign, the 23-year-old striker scored 21 goals and created 27 chances in 34 Premier League appearances for Tottenham.

The Englishman scored 25 goals and created 44 chances in 38 league matches for the North London outfit last season.

However, Kane had a disappointing 2016 European Championship campaign with England in the summer, failing to score in four appearances in France.

Tottenham fans, though, should be optimistic about Kane bouncing back and scoring a lot of goals in the Premier League this coming season.
