Sunderland duo Fabio Borini and Lamine Kone have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the draw with Borussia Dortmund on Friday.

The Black Cats played out a 1-1 draw with German club Dortmund in a pre-season friendly at the Cashpoint Arena in Altach, Austria.

It was the Premier League club’s final game of pre-season, as David Moyes’s side remain unbeaten.

Nuri Sahin put Bundesliga outfit Dortmund ahead in the 16th minute, and Kone pulled Sunderland level on 65 minutes with a header.

The performance of the Black Cats against one of Europe’s most entertaining sides was quite encouraging.

Sunderland will kick off their 2016-17 Premier League campaign with an away match against Manchester City.

The Black Cats are going to find it tough to pick up all three points against City away from home at the Etihad Stadium.

Moyes’s side are expected to fight for survival in the Premier League yet again this season.
