The forward is one of two new players to arrive at White Hart Lane this summer.
Dele Alli has claimed that new Tottenham Hotspur teammate Vincent Janssen is a great player after playing alongside the striker for the first time in their pre-season win over Inter Milan, Sky Sports reports.
Mauricio Pochettino's side stormed to a 6-1 win against the Nerazzurri, with both men getting amongst the scorers. And having lined up alongside the £18m signing for the first time, Alli is confident that Spurs have done an excellent piece of business signing him.
"He's a great player and showed what he's got to offer. He scored a goal, and for mine I just played it to him, he laid it off and I put it in the back of the net," he told Sky Sports.
Given the size of the fee that was needed to bring him to White Hart Lane, Janssen arguably arrived under a level of pressure that he is yet to experience, and thus, it would hardly be that surprising if he took some time to settle in to his new surroundings.
However, his strike against Roberto Mancini's men was his second since joining the club, which suggests that he will have little problem rediscovering the form that saw him score 27 times in just 34 Eredivisie games last term for former club AZ Alkmaar.
And with their performance in Oslo suggesting that he is already developing an excellent understanding with his teammates on the pitch, it appears that he has all the attributes in place to live up to Alli's suggestion that he will be a great player for the club.
