Predicted Leeds United line-up to play QPR: Monk's new signings can shine

Here is how we predict Queens Park Rangers and Leeds United will line up this weekend:

To be played on Sunday 7th August 2016 at 12:00. Venue: Loftus Road Stadium, London

Odds: QPR 11/10, Draw 23/10, Leeds 23/10

The Championship kicks off on Friday evening but Queens Park Rangers and Leeds United will have to wait until Sunday afternoon to get their respective campaigns up and running.

Big things are expected of Leeds this season with new manager Garry Monk impressing with his summer spending, and many of the club’s new players are likely to make their competitive debuts at the weekend.

Recent addition Pablo Hernandez is unlikely to start due to a lack of match fitness but a second-half cameo could cheer the fans, while all eyes will be on big-money signing Kemar Roofe as he bids to continue his goal-scoring antics after excelling for former club Oxford United.

Leeds have no real injury concerns heading into the fixture, with the previously side-lined duo Gaetano Berardi and Liam Cooper both available, although again a lack of fitness could play a part in Monk’s initial selection.

Below is how we expect the two sides to line up in what should be a very entertaining clash:
