The former ‎Barclays chief Antony Jenkins is to take his first corporate directorship since leaving the banking group 13 months ago.

Sky News reports they have learned that Mr Jenkins has agreed to become chairman of Currencies Direct, a privately owned provider of foreign exchange and international payment services.

In the meantime, Reuters reports that Ray Kahn, who held a variety of senior roles in Barclays' clearing business over the past eight years, is no longer with the bank, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.

A spokesman for Barclays declined to comment on Kahn's departure, but said the bank is still committed to its swaps clearing business.
