Matty Cash has expressed his delight on Twitter, after signing a new contract at Nottingham Forest.
Cash has been handed a three-year contract extension at Forest, after impressing over pre-season.
The 19-year-old appears to have forced his way into new boss Philippe Montanier’s plans, after putting in some excellent performances in the build up to the new campaign.
Cash has been partnering Henri Lansbury in Forest’s midfield, and his displays have caught the attention of supporters.
The youngster appears to have the potential to make a big impact in the first-team this season, and Cash was delighted to sort out his long-term future today.
Cash is yet to make his senior debut for Forest, but he looks in contention to start against Burton Albion tomorrow.
With Chris Cohen out injured, Forest have a lack of other options in central-midfield.
Cash’s only competitive experience so far has come out on loan with Dagenham & Redbridge last season.
