According to a report from France Football, Tottenham Hotspur have renewed contact with Lille winger Sofiane Boufal.

Considering Spurs had initially been expected to complete a deal for Marseille wide man Georges-Kevin N’Koudou by now, it could be a case of Mauricio Pochettino switching targets, sounding out alternatives or ultimately planning to bring both men to White Hart Lane.

In other news, the Daily Mail claims Tottenham have not made an initial bid for Espanyol goalkeeper Pau Lopez despite earlier claims from Spanish newspaper Sport that a £1.7million bid had been rejected.

Despite the contrasting reports, the Mail claims Pochettino is a big fan of the 21-year-old Spaniard and has been monitoring his progress for some time.

While a move may not happen in the short term, he could be viewed as a long-term successor to current Spurs number one Hugo Lloris.

Alex Pritchard of Brentford with Lewis Cook of Leeds United

Alex Pritchard has completed his move from Tottenham to Norwich City, signing a four-year deal at Carrow Road.

The 23-year-old failed to make the grade in North London, in no small part due to injury, and he will be hoping to kick start his career at the Canaries.

Grant Ward at Rotherham United against Burnley

And finally, the Yorkshire Evening Post reports that Rotherham United were prepared to beat their existing transfer record if it meant bringing former loanee Grant Ward back to the club.

However, the young midfielder opted to move to fellow Championship side Ipswich Town earlier this month instead, leaving Spurs on a permanent deal.
