Che Adams scores the first goal for Sheffield United
Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has been commenting on the future of his star talent Che Adams.
Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ today (04/08/16) the Blades boss admitted there is interest in the 20-year-old attacker but that he was pleased with how his player had conducted himself amid the transfer talk:
“I think there is always going to be, with really good young players in the lower league, siituations where Premier League clubs and Championship clubs will covet your players.

“But he’s with us, he’s worked extremely hard and he is part of the group going forward.
“He’s shown a great attitude, he’s a talent and we are hoping he is going to be with us in the foreseeable future.”
Adams has been heavily linked with a move to Birmingham City throughout the summer.
Toward the end of last month it was reported by Sky Sports that Birmingham City had seen a £1 million move for the player rejected by Sheffield United.
Birmingham manager Gary Rowett
The Star reported earlier in the week that Birmingham have returned with an improved offer for the player – but it seems Wilder is hopeful he will be sticking around at Bramall Lane this season. The offer is reportedly worth around £1.7 million.
Sheffield United are the favourites to win promotion from League One this season but the club will know that keeping hold of Adams could prove vital to their fight for Championship promotion.
Birmingham City fans however will be hoping that they fold on their fight to keep the talented attacker.
