Leicester have long been linked with the Nigerian forward, who has been an impressive performer for several seasons in the Russian Premier League.
Last season he scored 17 goals in 40 matches to help CSKA Moscow to the title, his best ever campaign, and that was enough for the Foxes to finally bite the bullet and secure their man.

And against Barcelona on Wednesday night, the 23-year-old certainly looked every inch the next transfer masterstroke to emerge from the King Power Stadium.
Walsh's time as Head of Recruitment at Leicester has seen a number of superb acquisitions by the club, with the likes of Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez and N'Golo Kante all playing vital roles in the Foxes sensational Premier League title triumph last season.

Musa could be the next man on that list, and the last made by Walsh unless one of the other summer signings also impresses. Against Barcelona the forward showcased his skill, pace and finishing ability by netting a brace to bring the game back to 3-2 against the La Liga champs.
His first goal saw him run half the pitch, beating two players and then finishing confidently with his left foot. Musa's second was an excellent right foot shot in the top corner after turning in the box.

With the Foxes already perfectly set up to play to his strengths, and his ability to also to play off the wing, Leicester fans must be eager for the season to start, with Everton supporters hoping Walsh can bring similar transfer success to Goodison Park.
