A number of Football League clubs are chasing Crystal Palace midfielder Hiram Boateng on loan, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Boateng enjoyed two successful spells on loan at Plymouth Argyle last season, helping the club reach the League Two play-off final only to lose to AFC Wimbledon.

In his first spell on loan the 20-year-old scored twice in 19 appearances before returning to Palace in December and he later went on to make his Premier League debut for the Eagles against Swansea in February.
Boateng returned to Plymouth in March and ended the campaign at Home Park, making 31 appearances in total during his time out on loan.
The midfielder is highly-regarded within the corridors of power at Selhurst Park and he was named as Palace's Development Player of the Year at the club's end-of-season 2016 awards.

Palace must now decide whether to keep Boateng around their first-team squad or loan him again so that he can continue his development with regular first-team football.
League One new boys Northampton Town and Bristol Rovers have both expressed an interest in signing Boateng, having both come up against the midfielder last season in League Two while he was on loan at Argyle.
