According to reports from Calcio Mercato, the Premier League duo of Tottenham Hotspur and Everton have expressed their interest in signing Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic.

Mario Mandzukic did not enjoy the best of campaigns following his big money move to Juventus from Atletico Madrid last season and as a result, it is widely expected that the Italian champions will be looking to dispense with the services of the striker this summer, having signed Gonzalo Higuain.

To cast even more doubts regarding Mandzukic’s long term future at Turin, Juventus have splashed close to £76 million in order to secure the services of Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli this summer and the arrival of the Argentine star has clearly pushed the Croatian international further down the pecking order.

As a result, it is widely expected that Mandzukic will be leaving the Juventus Stadium this summer and a host of clubs, including West Ham United (Daily Mail) and Arsenal (Calcio News), are said to be interested in securing the services of the 30-year-old.

Both Tottenham and Everton are looking to strengthen their respective squads ahead of the upcoming Premier League campaign and the report from Italy state that the English duo have viewed Mandzukic as a realistic target.
