Seen as one for the future Stoke are clearly hoping they have got hold of an impressive talent in the left-footed central-defender and that his medical will go off without a hitch tomorrow.

One year ago HITC Sport reported that several teams were keen on the player – including Arsenal, Fulham and Brighton and Hove Albion.

Earlier this year The Mirror reported that Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United were also keen on the player.

But it looks like Stoke have won the battle to make this teenager a Potter and fans will hope he can live up to his potential.
