A whole clutch of Tottenham's first team players should get minutes against the Italians in Friday's Oslo friendly.

Below we predict the eleven Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino may go with in Friday's glamour friendly with Inter Milan in Oslo.

It is the first time a number of Spurs players will be available for a pre-season friendly this summer, with the club's English and Belgian contingent, as well as France skipper Hugo Lloris all likely to take some part in the match.

Going on the basic assumption that Pochettino will start with his strongest available team for the match in Norway, the same eleven he may then employ in the opening match away to Everton, we have also put together what could be his back up side, also set to come in at some point in the Inter game.

The chief eleven that could also end up starting against Everton in two weeks is printed in bold, while Tottenham's direct backup eleven in each position is listed below.

Essentially, the 22 players above will make up the core of the Pochettino's squad for the Premier League opener on August 13.

Mousa Dembele may well be given some minutes as he puts together his own pre-season schedule, even though he is not set to feature until the club's fifth game of the campaign because of his ban from the match against Chelsea last season.

Therefore it could see Victor Wanyama partnered alongside Eric Dier in central midfield, though the more offensive of the two. It would also see Kevin Wimmer come in for Jan Vertonghen with the Belgian unlikely to be risked in the first match of the season.

Vincent Janssen and Harry Kane may feature up front together at some point in the season, but it won't be in an away trip to Everton. The pair may however feature as a pair at some point in Oslo.

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou should, it is hoped, have completed his transfer by the weekend, and certainly by the trip to Goodison Park, though he will still surely be introduced slowly to Premier League football.
