Quoted by the Mirror, Pescara president Daniele Sebastiani has seemingly ruled out a move for Mario Balotelli.

The striker is expected to leave Liverpool this summer after Jurgen Klopp told him he is not a part of his plans and he should find a new club.

It has been a disastrous two years spell for the Italian, with him flopping in his first year and being sent out on loan to AC Milan last season, where he also struggled.

A long list of potential destinations has been named this summer, with Pescara and Crotone among them.

But Pescara president Sebastiani has rubbished the idea, saying the last thing Balotelli would want is to play for either side.

“I know that his is the name that would get the most attention,” the Mirror reports him saying.

“But Mario is a great player and I think that the last thing he would do would be to come and at Pescara or Crotone.”

It remains to be seen if Balotelli can find himself a new club this summer with his time at Liverpool is almost certainly at an end.

Given the manner in which he has performed over the last two years, it is hard to imagine that any club would view him as a viable option.

He has shown in the past that he has ability though, and perhaps if any deal is attractive enough then someone will consider it a gamble worth taking.
