Are Tottenham getting the better deal by signing Georges-Kevin Nkoudou?

Tottenham's deal to sign Georges-Kevin Nkoudou remains a possibility, despite a lack of progress on a transfer which it seemed was completed a fortnight ago.
Clinton N'Jie is heading in the other direction, and while French website Le Phoceen has reported tensions are growing between the two clubs, there is still hope among both teams that a deal can be done.

As to who is getting the better deal, that is a matter of opinion, and according to French football journalist and pundit Daniel Riolo, Marseille are the winners of the deal.
Le10Sport report that Riolo was asked who is the better player, and the analyst responded that it is the outgoing Tottenham forward.
He said: "I prefer N'Jie, he is more powerful."
Unfortunately for Tottenham, they did not see much evidence of why they signed him from Lyon a year ago, with the Cameroon international struggling for fitness.

When he was healthy he failed to make an impact, with just one assist and no goals. However it should be noted that he did not get a single start, and the progress shown by Erik Lamela in 2015/16, shows the danger of writing off a player after one injury hit first season.
Nonetheless, Mauricio Pochettino has shown himself to be a fine judge of talent so far in his managerial career, and if comparing the two, Nkoudou could hardly fare worse than N'Jie did in his first year at the club.
