According to reports from O Jogo, Tottenham Hotspur will have to pay significantly more than just £10 million in order to secure the services of Braga star Rafa Silva.

Following the signings of Vincent Janssen and Victor Wanyama, things have gone a bit quiet for Tottenham on the transfer front but the London Evening Standard recently reported that the Spurs are currently considering a move for Braga midfielder Rafa Silva.

The report stated that Silva is keen on playing in England for the upcoming campaign and that Tottenham would be able to land the services of the Portuguese international for as little as £10 million.

The Portuguese press have understandably picked up on the story and O Jogo have gone on to claim that while Tottenham’s interest in Silva is genuine, they will have to pay significantly more than just £10 million in order to sign the 23-year-old.

Silva is considered as one of the finest young players in Europe at the moment and the midfielder played a key role in helping Braga to the Portuguese Cup last season, while he was also a part of the Portugal team which emerged victorious in the European Championships.

As a result, it is understandable to see Braga valuing Silva at a higher price than £10 million and Spurs could potentially face a long drawn round of negotiations in order to sign the former Feirense star.
