The giant defender will finally end a torrid spell in England.
Tottenham Hotspur's Federico Fazio
The 29-year old was closely linked with Espanyol but Serie A will now be his destination after the Italian giants swooped in.

The deal will see Fazio initially move on a season-long loan before a £3.8 million purchase obligation activates next summer.
That represents more than a £4 million loss on the £8 million Spurs reportedly payed Sevilla for the Argentine in 2014 and it is yet another indication of Mauricio Pochettino’s ruthless dedication to his system.

Fazio was never a fit for Pochettino’s style of play and he joins the likes of Etienne Capoue, Benjamin Stambouli and Andros Townsend to be shown the door after failing to rise to the challenge.
Spurs have three senior centre-backs currently on their books but Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama are more than capable there and with academy product Cameron Carter-Vickers looking ready for first-team involvement this season, Pochettino will feel content with his options.

The Spurs boss recently admitted that he expects more signings to be made before the close of the window, leaving fans to excitedly speculate over which superstar could potentially arrive at White Hart Lane.
