Manchester United, Liverpool and Burnley are said to be on alert, following Leeds United defender Charlie Taylor's transfer request.
According to a report on Radio Yorkshire, Charlie Taylor has handed in a transfer request at Leeds United.
Taylor has just one year left on his contract at Leeds, and talks between him and the club over a new contract have broken down.
Massimo Cellino has previously promised that he would not sell Taylor this summer, but the 22-year-old defender is now trying to force the owner’s hand.
Taylor has been linked with a range of Premier League sides, including Manchester United, Burnley and Liverpool (Radio Yorkshire) in recent times. The trio are all said to have been alerted by the defender's transfer request.
The news comes as a major blow for Leeds, just a few days before the new season starts.
Taylor was arguably Leeds’ most consistent player last term, when he put in a number of eye catching displays.
If Taylor does leave Elland Road this summer, he will be the latest in a list of academy graduates to have departed Leeds in recent times.
Sam Byram left Leeds last January, while Lewis Cook joined Bournemouth earlier this summer.
