The Gunners have been linked with a host of players with Premier League experience, with Swansea City’s Federico Fernandez and West Bromwich Albion’s Jonny Evans both touted as possible targets.

It seems that Arsenal are also considering moving for Dann, who has impressed at Palace in recent times.

Everton are also said to be considering making a move for Dann, but Palace are likely to be reluctant to sell.

The 29-year-old has become an integral player for Alan Pardew’s side, meaning he would command a big fee if he was to move on.

Arsenal are also believed to be closing in on a deal to sign Valencia centre-back Shkodran Mustafi, as Arsene Wenger aims to bolster his options for the new season.

Arsenal begin their Premier League campaign with a match against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium.
