Wovles yesterday secured the signature of Icelandic international forward Jon Dadi Bodvarsson.

He became the fourth signing to sign for the club since their takeover was approved last week, and the first who they paid a fee for.

Wolves announced the signing on their official website, with Bodvarsson leaving German side Kaiserslautern.

Over the weekend it had appeared Bodvarsson would be heading to another Championship club.

Get West London reported that Leeds had made an offer of £1 million for Bodvarsson's services, and were among the favourites to sign him.

Yet when Wolves interest emerged, the asking price increased, and GWL reported that QPR 'stuck to their guns' and refused to pay the valuation, with the Midlands side eventually spending £2.7 million to secure Bodvarrson's signature.

Bodvarsson can play as a winger, a striker, or linking midfield and attack, and could be a useful target man for Walter Zenga's Wolves.

Yet after missing out on his signature, QPR supporters felt their club made the right decision despite the fact he was a player they were originally keen on.

Here is a look at how they reacted on Twitter to Wolves announcing the deal...
