Liverpool lost 2-1 to AS Roma in St. Louis this week.

Liverpool concluded their pre-season tour of the United States with a 2-1 defeat to Roma in St Louis.

It was a pretty open game with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp telling his post-match press conference that it could have been 6-5 to either side at half-time, the club's official website reports.

Former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko gave the Serie A side the lead before young winger Sheyi Ojo headed the Reds level just before half-time.

Mohamed Salah got the winner for Roma as he followed up Dzeko's header which was stopped by Mignolet, although judging by the Belgian's reaction the goalkeeper did not know too much about it.

Emre Can got his first run out of pre-season as plenty of recognised names got minutes under their belts, with the Reds facing two more pre-season games before they travel to Arsenal on the opening weekend of the Premier League season.

Liverpool face Barcelona at Wembley on Saturday evening in their final International Champions Cup match before they travel to Mainz the following day for a game against Klopp's former club.
