Wolves supporters got their first look at new manager Walter Zenga on Monday when the Italian was introduced at a press conference.

Zenga was appointed at the weekend in place of Kenny Jackett, with the new owners Fosun International making their presence felt.

Three new signings have already been made, with Silvio, Helder Costa and Joao Teixeira being brought in from Portugal on a combination of loans and free transfers.

Zenga has pedigree from his playing career, a former Italian international, but his managerial record has left plenty to be desired, with short spells in USA, Italy, Romania, and the Middle East.

Yet at his press conference, Zenga gave short shift to questioning along these lines, insisting his focus is not on what has gone on before, but simply the job at hand, arguing that his varied experience adds to his skillset.

Zenga's passion for the Wolves job was clear, urging fans to get behind the team and embrace the new era.

A tongue in cheek comment he made about Wolves being one of Italy's most famous clubs was largely taken out of context by some, but it showed a lighter side of his character.

The Italian looks like he will be good entertainment this season, and while he could have his work cut out by joining with just a week before the season kicks off, in a highly competitive league, he is determined to make his time at the club a success.

Here is a look at how Wolves fans reacted to his performance...
