A report from The Sun this morning claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are considering a £20 million bid for Leicester star Danny Drinkwater.

The newspaper claim that Spurs have been alerted to the 26-year-old's potential availability after contract talks between him and the Foxes have slowed down in recent weeks.

Leicester fans will be hoping they hold on to Drinkwater, who was so important to their Premier league title win last season.

Claudio Ranieri, meanwhile, has made the admission that star player Riyad Mahrez is distracted by potential exit rumours linking him with Arsenal. The Italian told the London Evening Standard how important it is for the Algerian to concentrate on his football:

"Maybe Riyad is distracted a bit by all of these rumours and speculation. But that is also an experience for my players. It is important that he understands that he should stay with us. He has to improve his fitness and play for the team as well last season."
