Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Emyr Huws in the summer transfer window.

According to The Sun (print edition, page 65, Sunday, July 31, 2016), Leeds are interested in signing Huws from Wigan Athletic this summer (click here to read more).

The 22-year-old midfielder has been on the books of Wigan since the summer of 2014 and has a contract with the Latics until June 2018, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

It has been reported by The Sun (print edition, page 65, Sunday, July 31, 2016) that Wigan will demand a transfer fee of around £2 million for Huws.

The Wales international spent the 2015-16 campaign on loan at Huddersfield Town.

The former Manchester City prospect scored five goals and created 22 chances in 30 Championship appearances for Huddersfield during the 2015-16 campaign.

Huws had a pass accuracy of 81% and a shot accuracy of 53%, and won 29 headers, 28 dribbles and 45 tackles.
