Ibrahimovic seems to have made an instant impact at Manchester United.
Ibrahimovic wasted no time making an impact in United's friendly against Galatasaray at the weekend by opening the scoring in a 5-2 win over the Turkish side with an overhead kick.
Schneiderlin told the official Manchester United website: “Zlatan came into the dressing room and he already had an aura. He has this thing about him, it is a presence and a stature. He is tall, powerful and, on the training pitch, you can see he has a lot of quality. Of course, this is just his first week back as well so he will continue progressing physically.
"But you can see his touch, his movement and his way of seeing football is brilliant so this season I think he will give us something great.”
United have certainly signed a forward that has an impeccable pedigree as well as a wealth of experience having won a number of league titles in the Netherlands, Spain, France and Italy.
The more sceptical approach would be to ask what the 34-year-old could bring beyond one season, but a recognised forward who has scored goals wherever he has been, and who will inevitably generate a fear factor, is always going to be welcome for Manchester United, and it seems that he has had positive effect on his teammates before the competitive season has even got underway.
Given that Ibrahimovic offers a presence at the top end of the field as well as some strength, one would think that he would relish the challenges the Premier League offers and as well as showcasing his natural finishing ability he will be able to bring others into play.
Certainly, he cannot be viewed as a long-term signing, but he seems to be having an impact on those around him already.
