Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been quoted as saying by the club’s official Twitter page about the importance of the return to action of Santi Cazorla.
Cazorla featured in Arsenal’s pre-season friendly match against Chivas at StubHub Center in Carson, California.
The 31-year-old started the match and played well, as the North London outfit registered a 3-1 victory.
Rob Holding, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Chuba Akpom scored the goals for Arsenal.
Wenger was pleased with the return to action of Cazorla and underlined his importance to the team.

Cazorla is one of the best players at Arsenal and will be a key figure in the team this season.
The former Villarreal midfielder featured in 15 Premier League matches for the Gunners last season, creating 37 chances in the process.
The Spain international had a pass accuracy of 90% and a shot accuracy of 44%, and won one header, 37 dribbles and 23 tackles.
Arsenal will be aiming to win the Premier League title next season.
