QPR will be aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship this season and stand of chance of playing in the Premier League during the 2017-18 campaign

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side endured a disappointing 2015-16 campaign and failed to end up in the top 10.

The London outfit have been quite busy in the summer transfer window so far, signing Jake Bidwell and Ariel Borysiuk among others.

QPR will start their 2016-17 Championship campaign with a match against Leeds United at Loftus Road next weekend.

Polter, who is 25 years of age, scored six goals and created 34 chances in 31 Championship appearances for Rangers last season.
