According to a report in Italy, Tottenham Hotspur’s Argentine central defender has agreed terms over a move to Roma.
Tutto Mercato Web reports that Fazio has agreed with Roma to make a move to the club on loan for the season from White Hart Lane.

It would seemingly then be a done deal, but apparently not. Spurs are currently considering the possibility of keeping the player – with Jan Vertonghen currently out with an injury problem.
However, the report does still state that it looks likely Fazio will make the move.

Since signing for Spurs back in August 2014 the 29-year-old, who has three caps for the Argentina national team, has struggled to settle in English football.
Fazio spent the second half of last season on loan at former club Sevilla but was sent off 25 minutes into his second debut for the club and struggled to find his form, playing just six times.

The Argentine international played just once for Spurs last season, in a Capital One Cup defeat to North London rivals Arsenal, and he is not a part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans at Tottenham Hotspur.
