Queens Park Rangers supporters were impressed with Jordan Cousins’ showing against Watford yesterday.
Cousins has joined QPR from Charlton Athletic this summer, and he was selected to start at Vicarage Road by manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
QPR won the friendly fixture 2-0, and they put in an impressive showing against Premier League opposition.
Cousin’s display in particular caught the attention of R’s fans, who were quick to praise him on social media site Twitter after the match.
Very impressed with the new signings and general set up today, Jordan Cousins will need an ice bath after running his socks off! #QPR— Rob (@Robboqpr78) July 30, 2016
QPR scored their goals against Watford through Sebastian Polter and Conor Washington.
The strike pair both got on the scoresheet to give Hasselbaink a selection dilemma ahead of the first game of the season.
QPR’s opening Championship match comes against Leeds United at Loftus Road next weekend.
QPR finished in 12th place last season, and will be hoping for better this time around.
