Queens Park Rangers beat Watford 2-0 in a pre-season friendly match yesterday.
QPR strolled to success against the Premier League side at Vicarage Road yesterday.
Rangers took the lead through Sebastian Polter, before Washington finally broke his goalscoring duck, and rounded off the scoring.
The performance was a very positive one from Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side, and Fernandes was pleased with the result.
Good run out by all today. Nice to see stadium with new logo. Felt so good seeing it.Thanks for good turnout to all fans. New kit also great— Tony Fernandes (@tonyfernandes) July 30, 2016
QPR have now played their final pre-season friendly, ahead of the competitive campaign.
The London side kick off their Championship season with a match against Leeds United at Loftus Road next weekend.
QPR go into the campaign as one of the outsiders for promotion, after a summer where they have attempted to cut costs.
The R’s finished in 12th place last term, and will be hoping to improve on that performance this time around.
