Liverpool fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Divock Origi against AC Milan at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
Origi featured in the pre-season friendly match for Liverpool against Italian giants Milan which ended in a 2-0 win for the Merseyside outfit.
The 21-year-old striker came on as a substitute at the half-time interval and gave a good account of himself in the second half.
The Belgium international put Liverpool in the lead just before the hour mark. The youngster collected the ball on the left of the area, got the better of Gabriel Paletta with some brilliant footwork, and curled it into the far corner.
Origi, who will be aiming to establish himself in the Liverpool first team this season, could have added to his tally soon after with a header.
During the 2015-16 season, the former Lille striker scored five goals and created nine chances in 16 Premier League appearances for Liverpool.

Great performance from the boys. We could have scored more. Win, Clean sheet and a good workout for the lads. Great goal by Origi. #LFC— Anders Nielsen (@theredbeef) July 31, 2016
time for Sturridge to stay on the bench and put more effort to be on the starting line again ..Both Ings & Origi showed they're better #lfc— Abdulraheem Aljohani (@iDoo7aa) July 31, 2016
First half MOTM, Mane and Klavan, second half MOTM, Origi and Ojo, what a pace from Ojo #LFC— Fathul Iman (@imanfathul_iman) July 31, 2016
I think Origi will bring out the best in Sturridge because he always delivers when brought on and Sturridge will not like to be benched #LFC— Sir_Mdizzy (@ck_mdoe) July 31, 2016
