Confirmed Liverpool line-up v AC Milan: Milner switches position, three summer signings start

Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp

Liverpool take on AC Milan in the International Champions Cup.

Liverpool starting line-up: Mignolet, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Klavan, Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Mane, Coutinho, Sturridge.

Liverpool substitutes: Manninger, Clyne, Firmino, Moreno, Brannagan, Origi, Ings, Stewart, Wisdom, Markovic, Ojo, Randall, George.

Liverpool play their second match of the International Champions Cup this morning as they take on AC Milan at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

The Reds lost 1-0 to Premier League rivals Chelsea just days ago, but Jurgen Klopp's men are back in action tonight against Italian side AC Milan.

Klopp has been dealt a blow by the absence of goalkeeper Loris Karius, meaning that Simon Mignolet starts in goal and recent signing Alex Manninger is on the bench.

Youngster Trent Alexander-Arnold starts at right back, whilst James Milner has switched position to fill in at left back, despite natural left back Alberto Moreno being on the bench.

Georginio Wijnaldum has dropped in to play in central midfield alongside Jordan Henderson, leaving Adam Lallana, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho to support Daniel Sturridge.

With summer signings Mane, Wijnaldum and Ragnar Klavan in the side, this promises to be an exciting game for Liverpool fans, whilst there are places on the bench for Nathaniel Clyne, Roberto Firmino, Divock Origi, Danny Ings and Lazar Markovic.
