Chelsea continued their pre-season preparations with a match against European champions Real Madrid this weekend.

The Bluest went 2-0 down when Brazilian Marcelo bagged a double, and Mariano Diaz’s long-range effort before half time looked to have ended the game as a contest.

But Chelsea fought back in the second half, with Eden Hazard scoring twice, making the final score 3-2 to the Spanish giants.

Among the familiar faces on show was Burkina Faso forward Bertrand Traore, and the 20-year-old did a decent job as one of the few Chelsea players to feature for the full 90 minutes.

Traore has done a fine job in his Chelsea appearances to date while he impressed during a prolonged loan spell at Vitesse Arnhem, scoring 20 goals and providing seven assists in 51 appearances.
