Newcastle United will make an improved offer for Brighton & Hove Albion winger Anthony Knockaert, according to The Daily Star.
It has been reported that Newcastle made an initial bid of £8 million for the French winger.
According to The Shields Gazette, the former Premier League outfit have to pay at least £10 million in order to secure the services of the 24-year-old winger.
It has been reported that Brighton want at least £10m for the former Leicester City man.
Brighton signed Knockaert from Belgian club Standard Liege in the January transfer window.
The winger was an instant hit for the Seagulls and helped them finish in the Championship playoffs last season.
The 24-year-old scored five goals and created 29 chances in 20 Championship appearances for Brighton during the 2015-16 campaign.
Knockaert had a pass accuracy of 80% and a shot accuracy of 55%, and won eight headers, 31 dribbles and 27 tackles.
