Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s defeat to Dynamo Dresden away from home on Friday evening.

The Premier League club lost the pre-season friendly match at the DDV-Stadion Dresden in Dresden 2-1.

Niklas Hauptmann put Dynamo in the lead early in the encounter, but Deulofeu restored parity for Everton just before the half-time interval.

Pascal Testreot scored for the home team 23 minutes from time with a long-range effort to secure the win in the Dresden Cup.

Deulofeu has taken to Twitter to admit his disappointment at Everton’s defeat, but he is happy to have scored for the Merseyside outfit.

Deulofeu scored two goals and created 34 chances in 26 Premier League appearances for Everton during the 2015-16 season.

The 22-year-old winger had a pass accuracy of 74% and a shot accuracy of 86%, and won one header, 46 dribbles and 16 tackles.

Everton endured a disappointing 2015-16 season and failed to finish in the top 10 of the Premier League.
