Rangers take on Burnley at Ibrox in a pre-season friendly this afternoon.

Rangers starting line-up: Foderingham; Tavernier, Kiernan, Hill, Wallace; Halliday, Barton, Kranjcar; McKay, Miller, Waghorn.

Rangers substitutes: Gilks, Hodson, Wilson, Rossiter, Dodoo, O’Halloran, Forrester, Thompson.

Rangers play their final pre-season fixture of the summer this afternoon, as they host Premier League side Burnley at Ibrox.

The Gers may have been in Scottish League Cup action earlier this month, but it's back to pre-season preparations today with Burnley heading to Glasgow.

Ahead of next week's Premiership kick off against Hamilton Academical, Rangers will be hoping to produce a strong performance against recently-promoted Burnley.

Manager Mark Warburton has handed a starting role to midfielder Joey Barton, who swapped Burnley for Rangers earlier this summer, and he's joined in midfield by Niko Kranjcar and Andy Halliday.

Another former QPR ace starts as Clint Hill partners Rob Kiernan in the heart of defence, whilst Kenny Miller joins Barrie McKay and Martyn Waghorn in attack.

On the bench, Warburton has named four summer signings as substitutes, with Matt Gilks, Lee Hodson, Jordan Rossiter and Joe Dodoo all available from the bench.

Danny Wilson, Michael O'Halloran, Harry Forrester and Jordan Thompson are also in the squad today and could feature in Rangers' final pre-season friendly.
